The Big Day
Going into our ENGL210 presentation, I genuinely expected to feel a sense of payoff.
We all attend an engineering university, yet much of what we learn feels disconnected from industry sectors outside of research.

Going into our ENGL210 presentation, I genuinely expected to feel a sense of payoff.

Last week, our team had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Hanan Farhat, our industry mentor.

Ever since I came to Qatar, I was told that it is recommended that every Aggie visit main campus at least once.

When we first began working on Project 1, our main goal was to identify real problems in Qatar and explore solutions.

This semester marked a moment in history; I managed to get the student worker position in the department of student affairs.

We recently met up with Ms. Lana for a presentation about leadership and working in groups.

Last week, we met with Dr. Reza and discussed the importance of finding and solving engineering problems.

For this week, I had a lot of intensive classes, the most demanding of which has to be English 210, where I had to work on my resume, job application, and a website.

Today, I see a lot of negative views in university about non-engineering courses. The typical targets of these remarks are History and Political Science, and last but not least, English.
